Our youngest students pre-KG, the 'Wonders', are just beginning to explore the world, filled with awe and curiosity. As they grow, they transform into Preprimary 1 'Delighters', finding joy and enthusiasm in their expanding horizons. Their delight in learning is infectious, lighting up our classrooms with their energy.
As they grow and transition into Preprimary 2, they've become 'Dreamers', allowing their imaginations to soar, daring to envision extraordinary possibilities. As our Dreamers evolve, they step into Grade 1 as 'Creators', becoming pathfinders in their own right, shaping their world through new ideas and creative expressions."
The journey continues in Grade 2, where our 'Explorers' delve deeper into knowledge, unearthing new learning territories with a thirst for discovery. In Grade 3, they become 'Innovators', not only learning but also introducing novel ideas, unafraid to experiment and break the mold.
Grade 4 sees our students emerge as 'Navigators', deftly charting their course through complex ideas and challenges. They develop strategic thinking skills, understanding that the journey of learning isn't always straightforward, but the destination is worth the journey.
As they reach Grade 5, our students become 'Voyagers', ready to embark on even greater intellectual journeys. They understand that learning is a lifelong voyage of discovery, growth, and personal development.
In Grade 6, our students become 'Discoverers', eager to explore and understand the world. They learn to investigate, analyze, and synthesize information, gaining a broad perspective.
In Grade 7, our 'Seekers' embark on a quest for knowledge, exploring deeper truths and discovering their unique paths.
Curriculum and beyond
Shourya Academy will follow the Central Board of Secondary Education and incorporate the best international learning concepts. Our preprimary and primary classes curriculum is based on a multisensory instruction methodology that uses the theory of multiple intelligence engaging different senses, including sight, hearing, movement, and touch. This involves various carefully planned activities aiding the learning process, facilitating them to retain concepts better. We teamed up with the Chrysalis curriculum providers, which incorporates the abovementioned learning approaches.
Smart Classes
Our classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art SMART boards. Our Smart classes use all interactive modules like animations, videos, and presentations that are appealing to students and access to a plethora of worldwide information which improves their overall academic performance.
STEAM & Robotics
At Shourya Academy, children from the early years of their school begin building STEAM skills. STEAM is an educational approach that aims to spark an interest and lifelong love of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. STEAM education focuses on hands-on learning and real-world applications. The skills gained through STEAM extend beyond the curriculum developing innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, decision making, leadership, acceptance of (and learning from) failure, and many more to be successful in the information-driven age.
A colorful and lively STEAM activity room fully equipped with role play games, art sets, soft toys, building blocks to enhance communications and collaborative skills of children. Further, we have partnered with LEGO Education, which provides STEAM learning, robotics, and coding solutions to our school.
Co-curricular and Sport activities
Co-curricular activities are a critical part of the Shourya Academy’s educational philosophy, as several skills instrumental in a child’s holistic development are learned outside the classroom. The school education goes beyond the traditional classroom and offers a wide range of possibilities and opportunities for children to develop their talents including Yoga, dancing, vocal and instrumental music, skating, etc. This is seen in our co-curricular program that will continually evolve.
We are passionate about sport at Shourya Academy as it is vital to the child’s development and health. Therefore, we promote children’s individual athletic talents and inculcate a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork by fostering participation in team sports. Qualified trainers and teachers ensure that the children learn, progress, and excel in a wide range of sports and games. We offer well-equipped cricket pitches, multipurpose open field, football, volleyball, basketball court, skating rink, and preschooler playground.
